How to get to our office
- Travelling north up the M6, turn off at junction 19 (A556) just after Knutsford Services. Turn right and after about two miles – watch out for 50mph speed cameras -- join the M56 to Manchester. Follow signs to Stockport along the M60, and exit at junction 22 to Oldham (A62). Turn right to Oldham town centre, and at the roundabout after the glass bridge, turn right and join Oldham Way (see map above). At the traffic lights turn left to into Prince Street and then left again into Union Street. The Chronicle is on the left.
- Travelling along the M62 and M60 eastbound (to Leeds), follow the M60 signs at junction 17, and exit the M60 at junction 22 to Oldham (A62). Turn left to Oldham town centre, and at the roundabout after the glass bridge, turn right and join Oldham Way (see map above). At the traffic lights turn left into Prince Street and then left again into Union Street. The Chronicle is on the left.
- Travelling along the M62 westbound (to Liverpool), exit at junction 20 (A627M), and take the first exit left at the roundabout to Oldham. Exit the A627M at PC World, following signs for Oldham town centre (A62) – second exit at the roundabout. Continue straight on at the next roundabout (third exit). At the traffic lights turn left into Prince Street and then left again into Union Street. The Chronicle is on the left.
- Travelling south on the M6 exit at junction 30 and join the M61. Continue and join the M62 eastbound (to Leeds) and follow M60 signs to Leeds. Continue along the M60, taking care to turn off at junction 17. Exit at junction 22 to Oldham (A62). Turn left to Oldham town centre, and at the roundabout after the glass bridge, turn right and join Oldham Way (see map above). At the traffic lights turn left into Prince Street and then left again into Union Street. The Chronicle is on the left.
PARKING: You can park opposite the front of the Chronicle (pay and display) and there is another pay and display car park further along Union Street. Turn left at Robson Street, just before the Gold Star takeaway.
SATNAV: Don’t use our published postcode - OL1 1EQ. It’s a PO box number and will take you to the sorting office! Please use OL1 1DZ (actually the building next door to us).
Please note that the famous Mumps bridge roundabout has disappeared as part of Metrolink works and entry to the town centre is now at a traffic light junction off Oldham Way. There is no rail link to Oldham at the moment
