Control Room Operator job available.

Working 10.5 days / 5 days per week.
£10.91 per hour.

Control Room Operator requirements.

  • To carry out security duties as directed including;
  • Monitoring and operating CCTV equipment in accordance with the Code of Practice and Operations Manual.
  • Analysis of CCTV images seen and determination of what resources (including police) need to be deployed to the incident.
  • Operating alarm monitoring equipment (including Sonitrol) in accordance with Operations Manuals.
  • Analysis of alarm activations and determination of what resources (including police) need to be deployed to the site.
  • Ensuring the integrity and security of the Control Centre at all times.

Special conditions and skills.

  • A good standard of numeracy and literacy
  • A licence issued by the Security Industry Authority
  • A relevant industry qualification/training on security management.
  • Experience of monitoring and responding to alarm equipment/CCTV equipment
  • Current knowledge of security services issues
  • Current knowledge of equalities and diversity issues
  • Ability to work outside office hours
  • Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check
  • Non Police Vetting Clearance
