In partnership with our client who provides a cost effective and high quality service to its’ customers, we are looking for an Electronics Buyer who will be responsible for the purchase and sourcing of goods ensuring correct quantity, best price, timely delivery and minimising the stock holding whilst optimising the cost of purchase.
To assist in producing accurate costs/BOM costs for the sales team
Creating and issuing orders using ERP system (Sage 200), and ensuring these meet customer expectations
Negotiating and building relationships with supplierS
Resolve any delivery or quality issues in an efficient manner to prevent delays in the delivery of product to our customers or line stoppages
Interface with Quotations to ensure support for new product introduction (NPI)
Communicating material lead times and queries to sales and operations teams
Data preparation for analysis (KPIs)
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
Electronics experience is essential.
Experience of Sage 200 is essential.
Recognised Purchasing and Inventory qualification, preferably full CIPS or part working towards.
