My client is currently looking to add to their busy and growing Finance team by recruiting for an all round Accounts Support Administrator

This will be an extremely varied role so you must have a flexible approach to your work and be able to prioritise workload effectively

You will be based in an Accounts team of 7 and provide hands on support with the following tasks;

  • Adding / creating new jobs / projects on the database
  • Generate written Payment applications and Pro Forma invoices for Clients as required
  • Liaise daily with Production / Finance if any discrepancies with invoices / applications
  • Assistance with Payment allocation - matching remittances to payment received and updating the system
  • Ad hoc assistance with chasing for any overdue / retention payments owed by the Customer - this is done by letter
  • Provide cover when needed across other Finance functions including Invoice processing
  • Help to manage the Finance inbox - distributing emails to the correct person
  • General Administration - dealing with post, correspondence and general filing
  • Liaise with Sales team for any discrepancies on orders / PO Numbers which might hold work up

You must have previous experience in an Administration based role to be considered for this vacancy - Accounts experience is not essential

Working hours - Monday - Friday either 8am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5pm. The Client offers secure, onsite parking
