Sales Support Executive

Bury

Hours, Mon – Thu 8am – 4.30pm, Fri 8am – 3.30pm

Salary £20,000 - £23,000pa, Dependant on experience

Permanent Position

We have an opportunity available as a Sales Support Executive available in the Bury area for a well established company. As a Sales Support Executive you are the primary contact for customers, dealing with all initial enquires, ensuring all order details are passed on effectively and efficiently whilst keeping all customer accounts updated. Whilst building relationships with customers, making regular calls to promote new products.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service with daily contact with customers, sales and agents.
  • Dealing with the initial customer enquiries in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Manager reservations and update customer order books.
  • Create and set up new customer accounts whilst liaising with accounts on credit limits.
  • Maintain close relationships with customers, contacting and promoting new products, upselling etc.
  • Input all orders onto ERP system.
  • Ensure stock is available for all orders.
  • Manage customers, PO’s, casing orders, checking quantities, price and dates etc.
  • Send all samples, images etc. to customers when required.
  •  Set up cross reference in ERP with customer requirements/processing instructions.
  • Managing pro forma invoices where applicable.
  • Approve carton marks, label positions etc. for customer spec sheets.
  • Create FOB documentation, commercial invoice, packing list and creating ERP invoice to customer.
  • Checking of tracker to ensure deliveries are on track, communicating with customers on delivery expectations etc.
  • Response to resolve customer queries/complaints in a timely and professional manner, organisations on returns when required.
  • Request other information from departments when required.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in multi-speed Supply Chain environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel (Pivot Tables) word and outlook.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Navision (Desirable)
