Healthwatch Rochdale are recruiting a company administrator within the organisation.

Rochdale Borough Council has commissioned Healthwatch Rochdale Limited to deliver Healthwatch Rochdale services. Healthwatch is the main public and patient engagement mechanism for health and social care service users. National guidance and a range of local engagement activities have helped to develop outputs for Healthwatch Rochdale in order to improve outcomes for local people.

Healthwatch will include championing the health and social care needs of adults and children in the Rochdale borough, acting as an independent local voice ensuring that services meet the needs and remain high-quality and fit-for-purpose. Representing the views and experiences of local people, including children and young people and help communities to exercise greater choice over the services they receive. Healthwatch Rochdale has a visible presence in the borough, with an effective, proactive, and independent local voice.

Company Administrator - Main purpose of the job

The Healthwatch Rochdale Company Administrator is accountable to the CEO of the organisation. The post holder will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of all company administration duties for Healthwatch Rochdale. The Company Administrator will direct line the administration support role within the organisation.

The successful candidate will have experience of administration management, bid writing, report writing and office management with direct line management experience.

• Fixed term contract – 2-year contract
• Start Date – Immediate
• Location: Remote working & Healthwatch Rochdale, 104-106 Drake Street, Rochdale, OL16 1PQ
• Salary: £21,450 pa (pro rata for this part time role the salary will be £12,012 + pension contribution and staff benefits after probationary period has been passed)
• Closing Date - 5pm on Friday 22 January 2021.
