Administrator – Design Department
Salary up to £18,000 Depending on Experience
You will be responsible for assisting the Design Team with all aspects of the design and administration function.
Main Responsibilities will include:
Create and update category excel trackers for all new products
Track new launch products – liaise with the design team and suppliers on the tracking and receipt of initial samples for selection meetings and photography.
Participating and recording notes at customer and supplier meetings and carrying out follow up actions.
Actively work with the designers and mills to ensure that they are fully briefed on the design requirements for sample requests and amendments.
Effective and timely response to all e-mail communication with the suppliers, customers and internal staff
Track selection samples to ensure these are with the customer, ahead of selection deadline dates given by the customer.
General assisting in design department such as labelling and sending samples, ordering consumables, archiving, showroom dressing and other supportive tasks
Excellent computer literacy and excel skills
Good planning, organisation and prioritising skills
An ability to work under pressure and meet targets within strict deadlines
Ability to follow instructions
Self- motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative
A good communicator
