Site Fitter

Hours, Mon – Thu 8.30am – 5pm, Fri 8.30am – 2pm (No on call)

Rochdale – working away is required

Permanent position

Salary £23,000 - £25,000pa DOE (Expenses, overtime available)

We have an opportunity for an experienced Site Fitter for an Engineering company in Rochdale, this position requires you to travel UK-wide on installation projects, although many projects are located within the North West area also. As a Site Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation of Mezzanine Floors for various industries.

Responsibilities of a Site Fitter

• Traveling the UK wide, working on various projects to install/fit Mezzanine floors
• Liaising with clients directly on behalf of the company
• Working towards deadlines ensuring work is completed efficiently and effectively at all times
• Ensuring a high level of customer service is provided at all times
• Working alongside a small of engineers, leading by example and working on your own initiative

Skills and experience required

• Experienced site/installations fitter
• Steel Fabrications experience – desirable
• MIG welding experience – desirable
• Ability to read basic engineering draining
• Driving Licence – essential

This position does require you to work away, spending nights away from home.
