If you have an interest and wish to learn about or play the Ukulele then this is the group for you!

The Royton Ukulele group was set up 18 months ago for like minded people with an interest.

This is an "Introduction Workshop" so if you own a Ukulele please do take it along but if not its fine. Depending on the popularity of the session the group may then start a regular session of 4-6 classes for a basic beginners group.

The workshop includes:
*A brief history of the Ukulele
*The parts of, including the different sizes and styles
*What size suits you best (A collection will be there on view)
*How to hold and play
*A few basic chords and strumming (There will be some Ukulele's available to try)
*How a "Bash" is run of and evening and what is needed
