The group is lead by by YOLO and the Co-op Initiators: 
Helen Bishop – Leader of YOLO CIC Youth Local Project  The Satellite Center 
Jude Gidney – Member Pioneer of the Coop and director of Saddleworth Community Projects CIC

The aim is to provide a supportive and relaxed atmosphere for those who care for and/or live with people who have a mental illness. Helen felt there was a lack of support in the area for people/friends caring for those who have conditions that affect their mental health.

The aim of the group is to start by being a sound shop and consultation for those to express their concerns and needs and reach a way forwards for the group.

The aim is to be a non-judgmental, informative, listening group.

Anybody interested or who feels they could benefit from this resource is welcome to come along.
