Details:
Dan Forrester is holding a launch event at Oldham Library on 14th November at 6:30pm to celebrate the release of his debut novel Havock. Havock is a comedy fantasy for adults who would have preferred Game of Thrones if it had been written by Terry Pratchett. A young warrior is on a quest for the one thing that can save his homeland from a barbarian tribe intent on making it their own. He has no idea what he’s looking for, but on the bright side he has an incompetent wizard and an angry dwarf to help him. They don’t know what it is, either. What can go wrong? Paperbacks will be available at £10 and there will be compulsory fun (including book bingo) and a short reading to whet your appetite. Entry is free and will start with refreshments at 6:30pm (finishing by 8pm) so come along!
Entry fee: Free
