ATHLETIC have cancelled the registration of Rodrigue Dikaba.
The DR Congo international defied instructions to return to the club for treatment on an injury picked up on international duty last week and now won't be returning to the club he signed for on non-contract terms in mid-August.
"Rodrigue wanted to see his own doctor in Paris, but we told him to come back to see our own medical staff here," said Athletic manager Paul Dickov.
"He saw his own manager, who informed him he would be out for 10 days and Rodrigue said he would be staying in Paris for that period.
"We have a great set of lads here and I don't want any individual spoiling what we are building. That is why I have decided to cancel his registration."
Dikaba made two substitute appearances for Athletic's first team, the last of which was in the 1-1 home draw with Bristol Rovers last month.
