ATHLETIC have boosted their front line options with the capture of Sheffield United striker Michael Higdon on a three-month emergency loan deal.
Interim boss David Dunn has been on the look-out for a striker and has moved to bring in the 32-year-old. Higdon has scored five goals in 24 matches since joining the Blades in 2014.
He netted 40 goals in a two-year period at Motherwell, which earned him the PFA Scotland players' player of the year award in 2013. He then moved to NEC Nijmegen in Holland, where he scored 14 times in 32 appearances.
