AT THE DOUBLE: Oldham’s Jamel Chisholm scored a brace of tries against Batley Bulldogs.
Oldham 28, Batley Bulldogs 12
SUPERB Oldham produced their best performance of the season so far as they beat Championship high-fliers Batley at Bower Fold.
Scott Naylor's side scored five tries to inflict only the second defeat of the campaign on the Bulldogs.
Jamel Chisholm went in twice and Richard Lepori, Liam Johnson and Sam Gee also touched down for the rampant Roughyeds. Skipper Lewis Palfrey kicked four goals.
Tom Lillycrop and Wayne Reittie replied for Batley, with Pat Walker adding two goals, but they could not prevent Oldham from doubling their points tally.
