ALL SMILES: Ishika Lamba.

AFTER impressing in trials, Ishika Lamba is looking forward to a summer wearing the Red Rose of Lancashire.
The young pace bowler from Diggle is in the Lancs under-15s squad for the coming season.
Ishika was nominated for trials at Old Trafford by Greenfield Cricket Club, and came through with flying colours.
The 13-year-old pupil at Hulme Grammar School plays alongside the boys at Ladhill Lane.
Ishika, whose cricketing hero is the now-retired Sachin Tendulkar, has starred for Greenfield under-13s side and this season is hoping to make her presence felt in the club’s under-15s.
Her rise through the ranks has come quickly: the teenager took up cricket only last summer, after attending one of Greenfield’s summer cricket schools.
