ON THE MARK . . . Aaron Scholes (red shirt)
THERE was a familiar name on the scoresheet for Chadderton as they roared back from a 2-0 deficit at Daisy Hill to earn a point in a pulsating Hallmark Security League Division One clash.
Goals either side of the interval from Daniel Gregory and Craig Naylor had Daisy Hill in cruise control, and with just four minutes to go the game looked all over.
However, up popped Aaron Scholes - son of Manchester United and England legend Paul - to halve the deficit, before Chaddy grabbed themselves a share of the spoils courtesy of Leon Iloube's 89th-minute strike.
Chaddy are back in league action on Saturday when they host Whitchurch Alport.
THERE was frustration for Mossley as their scheduled home fixture against Goole in the Evo-Stik League Division One North was postponed due to a snowbound pitch at Seel Park.
The Lilywhites will hope the surface is clear enough tomorrow night as they are due to Tameside neighbours Droylsden (7.45pm kick-off).
