SADDLEWORTH Rangers produced a stirring fightback as they won 32-28 at Hunslet Warriors in the National Conference League Challenge Trophy.
Division Two Rangers found themselves 22-0 behind at half-time against their Division One opponents. However, Craig Farrimond's side battled back brilliantly to book their place in the next round.
Man-of-the-match Gavin Dodd began the fightback early in the second period.
Sub Jack Holden went over for Rangers, before Dodd notched his second try as the hosts were quickly being battered into submission.
Holden crossed for his second try on the hour mark, before Adam Jeffries went over twice in the closing stages.
Rangers had both Farrimond and Dodd sin-binned for dissent - one in each half - but the whole squad battled superbly. Ben Whitehead kicked four goals.
