DELPH have an ideal opportunity to continue their surge towards the top five in the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership this weekend.
Grant Jones’s men secured their third straight victory at Honley last weekend, a run which has eased them into seventh position in the table following a stuttering opening half of the 2014 season.
However, if Delph can win back-to-back home matches against rock-bottom Holmfirth tomorrow and fifth-placed Shelley on Sunday, they will have the higher reaches of the table firmly in their sights.
Both home games start at 1pm.
WOODHOUSES are struggling for form in the Greene King Lancashire County League.
They lost to Flowery Field last Saturday, but also have a good chance to make progress this weekend with two matches on their agenda.
’Houses host Dukinfield tomorrow at Belfields, before travelling to second-bottom Cheetham Hill 24 hours later.
Both matches start at 12.30pm.
