Royton may be villains of the piece

CRICKET: ROYTON could be cast in the role of villains tomorrow.
Victory over Werneth at the Paddock would condemn the Coppice outfit to relegation and Lake Garage CLL Championship cricket in 2015.
But Royton, though safe in the premier division, have plenty to play for. The club is fifth and occupying one of the LCB Cup places for next season. But Clifton are only four points behind and remain a threat to their ambitions.
If Werneth win tomorrow and Rochdale lose at Norden, there will be a winner-takes-all survival clash at Redbrook on Sunday, when the two relegation rivals meet.
Royton, meanwhile, end their campaign at Heywood, and Crompton will be hoping to end their season on a high note at home to Oldham tomorrow and Unsworth on Sunday.
Oldham end a difficult campaign with a home game against fellow strugglers Ashton and a win could see them climb off the bottom of the table on the final day of the season.
