FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY came from behind to beat Glossop North End 2-1 last night in the Manchester Premier Cup first round.
Tom Bailey handed the hosts a half-time lead, but Oliver Devenney and Tom Pratt turned the game on its head in the second period.
Chadderton crashed out of the North-West Counties League First Division Trophy at the preliminary round stage as they lost 3-1 at Ashton Town. Chris Pauley bagged a last-minute consolation goal for Chaddy.
Tonight Oldham Boro host megabucks Salford City in the Manchester Premier Cup at Seel Park.
The match, which gives Tony Mills' side a welcome break from a stuttering North-West Counties League campaign, kicks-off at 7.45pm.
