Kyan’s an instant hit

TABLE TENNIS: 

Newest member of the Oldham and District Table Tennis League Kyan Chin produced a masterclass of three wins for Birley Moss in their 7-3 defeat of Saddleworth ‘B in Division One.

Saddleworth’s Paul King registered a brace to keep the score respectable.

When two teams at conflicting ends of the table met, it was a rather predictable result as Saddleworth ‘A’ beat Honeywell ‘B’ 10-0.

Adam Rowbotham, making a rare appearance in Division One, was unbeaten for Saddleworth.
