Comeback kings boost title hopes

OLDHAM extended their lead at the top of the Lancashire GMC Super Eights Elite League table after a superb comeback win against St Helens.
The hosts roared to a 7-3 victory after earlier finding themselves 3-2 behind against the third-placed opponents. This latest victory leaves Oldham a comfortable nine points clear of second-placed Rochdale.
Dave Airey won his match 4-3 thanks to a three-dart average of 75.31. Ian Walters then won 4-2 as he averaged 84.11 After then falling behind, Oldham went on to win the last five matches to clinch a team win.
