Rangers in home finale

RUGBY LEAGUE: THE curtain falls on Saddleworth Rangers’ campaign tomorrow.
Craig Farrimond’s side has battled on despite being doomed for relegation some weeks ago. Bottom of Kingstone Press National Conference League Division One, Rangers wrap up their season with the visit of Skirlaugh.
The mid-table East Yorkshire outfit is refusing to lift its foot off the gas, even though there is only pride to play for. They ruined Normanton’s hopes of a top-two finish with an impressive 29-18 win last weekend.
Rangers scored four tries in a 54-20 defeat by York Acorn on the same afternoon. They were within six points of Acorn in the early stages of the second half but tired bodies — they only travelled with 13 men — meant they could do little to prevent the hosts from pulling clear in the final third of the match.
