Hot-shot Josh helps Uppermill Storm to Mossley win

JOSH Young grabbed a super hat-trick as Uppermill under-12s Storm team triumphed 4-2 at Mossley Juniors.
Noah Griffiths completed Uppermill’s tally.
The under-12s Thunder team also won 4-2, at home against Waterloo. Harry Reeves, Kaden Todd, Seb Eastwood and Callum were on target.
Manchester Youth and Mini Soccer League
ZAC Hughes, Kyle Hill and Travis Quinn struck the goals for Boundary Park Juniors under-13s Blues in a 3-0 victory at Moston Valley Reds.
Zinedine Iqbal scored twice for Boundary’s under-12s Whites, but they lost 10-2 against the Manchester Lions.
MOORSIDE under-nines slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Abraham Moss.
Player-of-the-match Max Leaver was the marksman.
Tameside Sunday League
WILF Bangham, Josh Aspinall, Jake Hill, Endrit Svirca and Sam Foy netted for Boundary Park Juniors under-15s as they cruised to a 5-2 win against Northside.
Tameside Saturday League
CHADDERTON Park under-17s Eagles triumphed 5-0 at home to Mossley JFC thanks to a superb hat-trick from Joseph Ray and further strikes from Adam Boardman and Nathan Booth.
Park’s under-18s also won, 11-2 at home to Heyside Blues.
Park’s under-13s Phoenix lost 7-5 at Reddish Vulcans Typhoons.
On the mark were Matthew Berry, Keenan Mellor, James Nelson, Harry Leghorn and Cameron Sykes.
