Michael Wild.
SNOOKER: MICHAEL Wild produced a brave effort, only to slip out of the World Championships at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.
Down 9-0 overnight, the Moorside ace threatened to make a stunning comeback by winning six frames in a row, which included breaks of 55 and 90.
Opponent Michael Holt only needed one frame to progress, though, and emerged as a 10-6 winner in the first qualifying round.
