Occupant treated for smoke inhalation after cooking fire in Failsworth

A fire on Albert Street West, Failsworth was caused when a pan of food was left unattended on a cooker on Sunday (1 October).
Smoke from the flames quickly filled the kitchen and firefighters had to treat one of the occupants for smoke inhalation
Three fire engines from Manchester Cental and Hollins attended and firefighters used breathing apparatus, a hose reel and a ventilation fan.
