'Strictly Kershaw's' a fund-raiser for Dr Kershaw's Hospice
'Strictly' comes to the Queen Elizabeth Hall on Friday 20 October as prominent members of the local community compete in 'Strictly Kershaw's' - a fund-raiser for Dr Kershaw's Hospice.
Hosting this local 'Strictly' will be Nicola Stephenson and Judith Barker, who recently performed in the West End production of 'Stepping Out', a story about a group of tap dancers.
The judges will include European Latin Champions Mandy Thompson and Tony Birchall.
Participants will be Councillor Jean Stretton (Leader of Oldham Council), Conor Marlin (Oldham Athletic), Janet Beachill (Costco) and Andrew Donnelly (Spectrum Brands), Chris Hamilton (Oldham RLFC chairman) and Nathan Murgatroyd (better known as 'Roary', the official Roughyeds' mascot).
The sell-out 'glitz and glamour' event includes dinner and an opportunity for those attending to enjoy a VIP champagne reception in the Mayor's parlour with the celebrity hosts.
