A fire at a building on Ridgefield Street, Failsworth on Wednesday (11 October) is believed to have been started deliberately.
Four fire engines from Chadderton, Hollins, Philips Park and Manchester Central attended, as well as the command support vehicle from Hyde.
On arrival firefighters found the building to be well alight, with a quantity of rubbish and timber ablaze on the first floor.
