Man dies after van collides with houses on Lees Road

A 27-year-old man has died after a white Ford Transit van collided with houses on Lees Road, Oldham on Saturday (21 October).
A 19 year-old man was also taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Police, who were called just before 5.45am, are appealing for information after the fatal collision.
Sergeant Lee Westhead of GMP’s Serious Collision Unit, said: “My thoughts are with the victim’s family, who are being looked after by specially trained officers at this difficult time.
“While we work to uncover how this happened and piece together the moments before the collision, I’m asking for the public to help in any way they can.
“If you were in the area this morning, know anything about the van’s movements, or have dash-can images, please get in touch and share this information.”
