Serious collision in Uppermill

A man was taken to hospital, via air ambulance, with serious injury following a collision between the man and a car in Uppermill.

Roads were closed into Uppermill from Oldham on Oldham Road at its junction with Greenfield Station and Chapel Road.

Oldham Road was completely closed off for several hours as police worked at the scene.
