Oldham Cancer Support Christmas Dinner
I attended the Oldham Cancer Support Christmas Dinner, the room was full of volunteers, patients and their families coming together to celebrate the festivities.
Oldham Cancer and Support Centre was established around ten or so years ago.
The centre provides support to people who suffer from cancer and counselling services for them and their families.
The centre is run predominantly by volunteers and the service they provide to people and families in some of the most difficult and challenging times and circumstances is commendable.
I feel a huge honour and privilege to be a patron for the centre and look forward to working closely with them in this capacity.
I had the opportunity to meet some fantastic people who are unaware of the huge difference they are making to the lives of others, it was an honour to attend and an even bigger honour to be patron of such a worthy cause.
I wish everyone at Oldham Cancer Support all the very best for Christmas and hope they have a fantastic New Year.
