The RSPCA Centre for Bury, Oldham and district have launched an appeal for people to donate shoeboxes full of goodies, toys and treats for the dogs and cats in their care this Christmas.
All you need to do is simply label the shoebox with ‘Cat’ or ‘Dog’ and drop it off at the centre, where you can have a cuddle with the animals, before Sunday 24 December.
If you don’t have the time to fill a shoebox to go under the tree, then you can donate food and toys by ordering them on the charity’s Amazon wish list, which they have created specifically for the animals in their care:

RSPCA Oldham and Bury said: “This will be our first Christmas in our new animal centre and we are hoping to make it extra special for the dogs and cats in our care.”
