Oldham town centre's George Street Chapel is staging a unique Royal Wedding event on Saturday - a special screening and afternoon tea.

Celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in some style, from 11.30am, by watching the ceremony live on a 10ft screen.

You can also enjoy a range of freshly prepared sandwiches, tasty treats, tea, coffee, and a celebratory glass of Prosecco.

The 200-year-old Chapel is a perfect venue for the whole Royal Wedding spectacle thanks to its romantic ambience and charming features.

Tickets for the exclusive event cost £11.95 per adult and £4.95 per child.

Elsewhere in Oldham centre, royal fans can watch the big wedding in great company at the George Tavern, at number 42, George Steet.

There's no charge for this event, but donations will be take for Oldham Pride.

Celebrate in style with Bucks Fizz and pastries on arrival, from 11am.

The Royal Wedding will be shown on two big screens.

There'll also be a lunchtime barbeque, music and goody bags for the kids.
