Nathan and Jenson Pollitt are dedicated fund-raisers
Two exceptional young brothers from Failsworth have caught the fund-raising bug once again this year.
Twelve-year-old Failsworth Co-Op Academy pupil Nathan Pollitt and his eight-year-old sibling Jenson, who attends South Failsworth Primary, have previously raised much-needed funds for roof repairs at the Forest School, Reuben's Retreat in Ashton, and the Royal Oldham Hospital children's unit.
This year the two youngsters are fund-raising for a memorial tree and bench in Brookdale Park, in memory of their aunt Antonia Kerrigan, who died suddenly at aged 34 in February this year.
The Pollitt brothers have a JustGiving page and have raised £700 so far of the £1,000 total.
They are taking part in the Failsworth triathlon on July 7 and Iron Kids UK on July 14.
Nathan and Jenson have been inspired by their dad Mark Pollitt, who has also just taken part in Lakesman (a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and a marathon).
Mark is also set to compete in Iron Man UK this year.
