Police are searching for a wanted man from North Manchester.
Kyle McGovern, of Walderton Avenue, Moston, is wanted in connection with a number of assaults, burglary offences and breach of a court order.
McGovern is known to have links with Moston, Newton Heath, and Oldham and is actively evading police arrest.
All efforts to trace him so far have proved unsuccessful.
Warrants were issued and officers searched properties in Moston and Failsworth on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, in a bid to find the 21-year-old.
As part of these searches two men – aged 20 and 21 - were arrested on suspicion of burglary and have been released under investigation.
Detective Constable Leanne Gibb, from GMP’s City of Manchester division, said: “We understand that McGovern has been seen recently on the Lightbowne Estate in Moston by local residents.
“McGovern is known to walk around wearing a hat, shorts and with his hood up.
“I urge anyone with any information on his whereabouts to contact the police so he can be prosecuted for the offences he has committed.”
Anyone with information about McGovern’s whereabouts is asked to contact police on 0161 856 3521 or make a report through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online.
