Chadderton health centre issues alternative phone numbers
Date published: 14 September 2018
A Chadderton health centre is asking patients for their co-operation following the failure of phone lines into its two GP practices.
Due to an engineering fault, the Woodlands and Chadderton Medical Practice surgeries on Middleton Road have been experiencing issues with their phone lines.
However, a divert has now been put in place to enable patients to contact the surgeries on the usual number.
If patients are still unable to get through to their practice, walk in appointments and online appointments are available and staff are encouraging patients to access these where possible.
Patients who require out of hours services – in other words who need access to care outside of the surgery opening times of Monday to Friday 8am to 6.30pm – are advised to contact 111 for healthcare advice.
Healthcare staff are working closely with the telecoms provider, to try to ensure a speedy resolution to the issue.
The following options are available to patients to try to contact the surgery:
For Chadderton Medical Practice –
Phone 07434555155 for an emergency appointment. Phone 0161 909 8144 for a regular appointment.
For patients who have an online login please book an appointment via the website at www.chaddertonmedicalpractice.nhs.uk
For Woodlands –
Phone 07486 501709 for an emergency appointment or 0161 909 8131 for a routine appointment.
For patients who have an online login – www.woodlandsmedicalpractice.com.
Or check our Facebook site woodlandsmedicalpractice for updates.
For both practices –
Attend either surgery and book an appointment in person or wait for an appointment if one is available.
Call 111 for out of hours advice.
Patients can get regular updates on the situation by checking the website or liking the Practice’s facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Chadderton-Medical-Practice.
