Christmas has come early to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice thanks to the team at Saddleworth Round Table.

The community spirited group have given Dr Kershaw’s supporters the opportunity to raise money for the care of patients at the Royton Hospice by gifting 50 places for their December Santa Dash.

A group spokesperson said: “We’re delighted to gift 50 places on this year’s Santa Dash to supporters of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.

"The whole purpose of Saddleworth Round Table is to raise funds for local good causes, with the Santa Dash being a great opportunity for organisations throughout the borough to benefit from the generosity of the community.”

Of the Round Tables donation, Dr Kershaw’s Community Fundraiser Lillie Winterbottom said: “This is a fantastic gift which will help of our supporters raise money for patient care at Christmas.

"It will also be a totally Santa cl-awesome way to kick start the seasonal festivities for all the participants and their families.

"We’re so grateful to the gentlemen at Saddleworth Round Table, their continued support of the local people is inspiring”.
