Two people from Heywood charged with drug offences following dawn raids

Seven people including two people from Heywood have been charged with drug offences as part of GMP’s Operation Ballerina.

28-year old Jane Adams and 26-year old Kieran Kay from Goldbrook Close have been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A controlled drugs, namely heroin and crack cocaine.

65-year old Colin Nuttall, 58-year old Andrew Dootson and 34-year old Lee Cirillo from Manchester have also been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A controlled drugs, namely heroin and crack cocaine.

22-year old Mohammad Mohsin Ali has been charged with being concerned in the supply of class A controlled drugs, five counts of supplying class A controlled drugs namely crack cocaine and heroin and possession with intent to supply heroin, possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession with intent to supply cannabis.

39-year old Irfan Younis from Bury has been charged with two counts of supplying class A controlled drugs, namely heroin and crack cocaine.

They have been remanded to appear at Manchester & Salford magistrates court today (Friday 7th June).

The charges are part of Operation Ballerina, where warrants were executed to disrupt the supply of drugs in Bury.
