Twelve people charged following daybreak raids in Rochdale

Twelve people have been charged following daybreak raids in a bid to tackle drugs supply and the exploitation of children and adults.

24-year old Nomaan Abid of Rough Hey Walk in Rochdale has been charged with acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.

42-year old Sajid Hussain of Kings Road in Rochdale has been charged with converting criminal property- money laundering.

30 year-old Isma Fraird and 35-year old Talib Hussain both of Clifford Street, Rochdale and 22 year-old Zaainul Rafique of Hill Top Drive in Rochdale, have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.

24-year old Jawad Ali Khan of Royds Street West in Rochdale and 21 year old Inzmam Ali of Louise Gardens in Rochdale, have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

The following people have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and Class B drugs- 

23-year old Arslan Ali of Lousie Gardens in Rochdale

25-year old Rejaul Miah of Moss Street in Rochdale

21-year old Jake Stead of Great Howarth in Rochdale 

19-year old Reece Hannah of Wardle Edge in Rochdale

19 year old Jasmine Kelly of Halifax Road in Wardle has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A controlled drug.

They were remanded to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates court on Friday (21st June).

On Thursday 20th June, officers executed warrants at 11 addresses across Rochdale as part of Operation Gallant, that was set up to tackle drugs supply and the exploitation of children and adults.
