The breakfast team from Oldham's Revolution 96.2 and staff from the Oldham Chronicle took a trip back to the 80's on Friday morning.

They were in the town centre outside The Spindles Shopping Centre encouraging people to sign up for this year's colour blast, to raise money for Doctor Kershaw's Hospice.

The event back for a 5th year see's people jog or walk around Alexandra Park while being blasted by paint.

Organsiers have decided to give this year's colour blast an 80's theme - so dig out the slogan T-shirts and bright leggings and get signed up.

It costs more than £3 million to run the Hospice every year - with the charity getting £1 milllion from the Govenrment and the rest they have to find.

The teams were joined by various other businesses and members of the public signing up for the event which will take place on Saturday 22nd September at Alexandra Park.

Lilly Winterbottom from Doctor Kershaw's said "It's something that's challeneging but not perhaps as challenging as a 10k or something like that. It's something that you can get the whole family involved with. And for Doctor Kershaw's it's certainly been a really spectacular event, a celebration of our community at the same time as a great colour fun day".

And on the radio station they had an 80's album giveaway.
