Cotton Clouds is back this weekend and so is the app

Date published: 17 August 2019

This year's Cotton Clouds Festival will again provide it's attendees with an app, connecting those off to see 'Peter Hook & The Light' in the beautiful Saddleworth surroundings.

Thousands of people used the application last year, and thanks to its popularity, it's back again this weekend for the 2019 two-day fest.

An integrated news feed means attendees can post photos, videos and text, allowing the app to function as the festival's own social media network.

Last year, attendees posted hundreds of times, both during and after the weekend's proceedings.

The app will be the easiest place to see the festival line-up, and will feature a 'Favouriting' function so you can make your schedule bespoke.

Favourite your can't-miss sets and you'll receive a notification 15 minutes in advance of them commencing.

The app has been created in conjunction with London developers Second Screen, who specialise in the live events space, and who are very excited to dance to The Wailers this August.

Cotton Clouds takes place at Saddleworth Cricket Club on (Saturday) August 17th and 18th.
