Locals turned out in numbers to witness the Christmas lights switch-on in Lees.
Santa.Claus was on hand to flick the switch as residents and their families got that exciting Christmas feeling.

The area around High Street, Mellor Street and Elliott Street was a hive of activity as the Lees sky-line was lit up for the festive period.
