Teaching staff praised on "Thank a Teacher day"

Carolyn Wilkins, Chief Executive of Oldham Council has thanked the borough's teachers in a video posted this morning.
In the message, she said "I wanted to take a moment to thank all teachers, as well as teaching assistants and support staff. Everyone that makes the education contribution for our children and young people continue.
"Now more than ever it's so importtant to show our appreciation of the vital work what teachers do. Supporting our young people as well as families and our wider communities.
"Thank you on behalf of Oldham for everthing that you're doing."
