Officers seek suspicious Audi, while another driver is apprehended after crashing stolen car

Oldham police officers have asked the public to watch out for an Audi A4 vehicle which sped from the attention of a patrol vehicle.

A post on the GMP Chadderton Facebook page read: "A suspicious vehicle which has been seen on the Cairnwell estate, Chadderton, has just made off from Police Patrol.

"Vehicle Audi A4 Vehicle reg CE52KFO.

"If sighted please report to Police.

"Thanks, Chadderton Neighbourhood Team."

Meanwhile, the vehicle pictured (above) failed to stop for Police in Limeside.

The occupants of the car then ran from the vehicle after crashing the vehicle on First Avenue.

Officers detained one of the males from the car a few streets away, with help from passing members of the public.

The car is stolen and the male driver had a quantity of class B drugs in his possession.
