St John's seeking more help from new dedicated Oldham volunteers

Oldham's Mayor has urged townsfolk to consider taking a volunteer role with St John's Ambulance
Oldham’s Mayor Cllr Ginny Alexander has donated £500 to the town’s St John’s Ambulance Oldham branch.
And she has urged townsfolk to consider taking a volunteer role with the charity.
She said: “St John Ambulance step forward in the moments that matter, to save lives and keep communities safe.
"Their highly-trained volunteers keep people safe at events nationwide.
“All their charitable work is entirely funded by donations, and they are a market leader in the provision of workplace training, first aid supplies and event and ambulance services.
“Whatever you enjoy doing and however much time you can commit, there’s a volunteer role for you.
"Volunteering is a fantastic way to enhance your CV, meet new people, and learn lifesaving skills,” she added.

• Community First Responders
• Event First Aiders
• Fundraising and Communications volunteers
• Healthcare Professionals
• Managerial roles
• Operational Support Volunteers
• Skilled support
• Stadium First Aider
