Man charged following city centre rape

Police received a report that a woman had been raped off Charles Street in Manchester

A man has been charged following a rape in Manchester city centre.

Liam Clarke (aged 21) of Yew Tree Road in Dukinfield, has been charged with one count of rape.

He will appear before Manchester Magistrates' Court on February 4, 2021.

At around 4am on February 29, 2020, police received a report that a woman had been raped off Charles Street in Manchester.
