Driver summoned for driving without insurance or licence

A random vehicle stop in Oldham has resulted in a summons for the driver.
The white van was stopped in the Oldham area by a traffic patrol from Greater Manchester Police.
On checking the vehicle and driver details, it was discovered the driver had no insurance or licence.
Under the LC10 conviction code driving without a full driving licence can lead to 3-6 points on your licence and a potential fine of up to £1000.
If you drive without a licence and caught Driving Without Insurance, you can be given a further 6-8 penalty points and a fine of up to £5000.
A court can also ban you from obtaining a full licence for a period of time that they see fit.
