Man injured after car crash and assault in Failsworth

Police were called to Failsworth on Monday night
A man went to hospital after a car crash and a reported assault in Failsworth, on Monday night, March 8.
Police say they were called to a disturbance on Albert Gardens, at around 9.15pm.
Officers attended and established there had been a road traffic collision, and a 22-year-old man had subsequently been assaulted, but had fled the scene prior to the police arriving.
He later self-presented at hospital, suffering injuries to his head and leg.
No arrests have been made, and enquiries are ongoing.
