An increased police presence will be visible on the streets of Limeside and Hollinwood this weekend as officers continue their quest to quell anti-social behaviour.
In a post on the GMP Failsworth and Hollinwood Facebook page, it is clear that officers are intent on cracking down.
The post read: “Due to a rise in youth disorder in the Limeside and Hollinwood area extra resources will be deployed in the area this weekend.
“Weapon sweeps will also be conducted in local parks and tram stops by Special Constables.
“Anyone caught involved in gang disorder will be dealt with robustly.”
