Police arrest 16-year-old over Glodwick robberies

The alleged offences took place last weekend
Police have arrested a 16-year-old male in connection with a series of street robberies in Glodwick.
The arrest follows images of the alleged offenders circulating on social media.
The 16-year old has since been released on bail.
A spokesman for the St Mary's, Glodwick and Roundthorn neighbourhood team of Greater Manchester Police said: "We are aware of two street robberies that occurred last weekend (12/3 & 13/3) and that a number of images of the alleged offenders that are circulating on social media.
"We can confirm on Sunday 14/3/21 the neighbourhood team arrested a 16 year old male on suspicion of four robberies in total. He has since been released on bail for further evidence to be obtained before consultation with the CPS is conducted."
